The Nike Kobe 8 Protro Venice Beach (2024) (PS) is an athletic shoe built for preschool-aged children, constructed around a gray base featuring abstractions of yellow, blue, red and green. Complementing the aesthetic are an orange lining, yellow and red laces, an aqua heel and mudguards, and a gray, partially transparent outsole. Kobe Bryant’s signature and the Mamba logo are found on the heel and tongue tab.

Originally released in 2013, the Nike Kobe 8 Protro sneaker was inspired by the colors and atmosphere of Venice Beach, California. Kobe Bryant spent his entire NBA career playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, drawing inspiration from his surroundings. The Protro Venice Beach was originally part of Bryant’s signature line with Nike.
