Bringing back a hyper-limited colorway of James’ ninth signature shoe is the 2022 edition of the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Watch the Throne.’ It’s named after and inspired by the 2011 album by Jay-Z and Kanye West and made for LeBron and a handful of his close friends and associates. Metallic gold Swooshes shine on the black Hyperfuse upper, fortified with interior Flywire cables and engineered textile wings that resemble carbon fiber. A lush multicolor print is featured on the interior lining and laces, which are partially hidden by ornate gold-plated lace jewels. Matching gold speckles enliven the black Phylon midsole, featuring encapsulated Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot and a 180-degree Max Air unit in the heel.
