Getting its name from LeBron James’ family foundation, dedicated to positively affecting the children and young adults of Akron, Ohio, the LeBron James Family Foundation x LeBron 18 ‘We Are Family’ functions as something of a sequel to the LeBron 17 ‘I Promise.’ Built with knit, the shoe’s upper appears in teal, subtly accented by orange fibers throughout. The forefoot Swoosh adds further orange to the look, while ‘We Are Family’ marks one of the Air pods on the tongue. The foundation’s logo instead emerges on the sockliner, while underfoot, Max Air and Zoom Air come togther in the midsole to provide cushioning.
